Sep 26, 2019
On September 20, 2017, Hurricane Maria made landfall in Puerto Rico, leaving a wake of destruction in its path. Boston Scientific employees, their families and the Puerto Rican community responded with incredible resilience and courage in the face of adversity.
With parts of the region immobilized for much time to come, critical operations at our Dorado, Puerto Rico site were up and running in only one week, delivering life-saving devices to patients in need – a feat that would not have been possible without the creativity and compassion of our employees. Two years later, hear their stories as they reflect on what it took to rebuild.
At Boston Scientific, we are stronger together.
