Boston Scientific Statement Regarding Attorneys General Settlement

Boston Scientific reached a settlement with the attorneys general of 47 states and the District of Columbia to resolve claims against our transvaginal and urogynecological mesh products used to treat stress urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse in women. We feel this settlement, which is not an admission of misconduct or liability, is in the best interests of the company and its shareholders. We are pleased to resolve this dispute and to continue focusing on delivering innovative products and solutions to physicians and patients.
