Guidant Announces Live Webcast of its Paris Course Investor Briefing

Indianapolis, Ind. - Guidant Corporation (NYSE and PCX: GDT), a global leader in cardiac and vascular therapy technology, today announced that it will host a live webcast of its briefing at the Paris Course on Revascularization. The briefing, which will focus on various vascular and cardiovascular topics, will take place on Thursday, May 24, at noon (Paris time). Eulogio Garcia, M.D. (Madrid, Spain), William Wijns, M.D. (Aalst, Belgium) and Wim J. van der Giessen, M.D. (Rotterdam, Netherlands) will join Ginger Graham, Guidant group chairman, and Guido Neels, president, Guidant Europe, for the briefing.

A live webcast of Guidant's briefing will be accessible through the Guidant website or at StreetFusion.com on May 24 at 6 a.m. (EST) - 12:00 p.m. local Paris time. The webcast will be archived on both websites for future on-demand replay.
