Guidant Announces Live Webcast of its Fourth Quarter and Year-End 2000 Earnings Conference Call

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Guidant Corporation (NYSE and PCX: GDT), a world leader in the medical technology industry, will conduct a live webcast of its fourth quarter and year-end 2000 earnings conference call on Jan. 30 at 5 p.m. (EST). Guidant is scheduled to issue a press release announcing its fourth quarter and year-end 2000 earnings after the market closes on January 30.

The live webcast of Guidant's conference call will be accessible to all investors through the Guidant website or at StreetFusion.com. The webcast will be archived on both websites for future on-demand replay.
