Guidant Announces Live Webcast of its Third Quarter Earnings Conference Call

Indianapolis, Ind. - Guidant Corporation (NYSE and PCX: GDT), a world leader in the treatment of cardiac and vascular disease, will conduct a live webcast of its third quarter 2002 earnings conference call on Thursday, October 17, at 1:00 p.m. EDT.
