Innovative Technology Could Represent New Frontier in Treatment of Heart Disease

Indianapolis, Ind. and Santa Clara, Calif. - Guidant Corporation (NYSE: GDT) today announced the $6 million purchase of the remaining stake in a company developing fully bioabsorbable drug eluting stent platforms.
