Boston Scientific Announces Public Offering of Senior Notes
(June 22, 2004) - Boston Scientific Corporation (NYSE: BSX) announced today the launch of a public offering of $500 million aggregate principal amount of senior notes, under the Company's existing shelf registration statement.

Boston Scientific plans to use the proceeds to repay commercial paper borrowings and for other general corporate purposes.

The joint bookrunners for the offering are Banc of America Securities LLC, Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. and JPMorgan.
