The Galway facility is one of two Boston Scientific facilities that manufacture the TAXUS™ Express2™ paclitaxel-eluting coronary stent system. The other is in Maple Grove, Minnesota. That facility was inspected by the FDA in July, and the agency reported no observations at the conclusion of that inspection as well.
