NATICK, Mass., Nov. 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Boston Scientific Corporation (NYSE: BSX) today announced that Daniel J. Brennan has been appointed to the position of Vice President Investor Relations. In this role, Dan will be responsible for all aspects of investor relations. Dan will report to Larry Best, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.

Dan comes to the position with over 10 years experience at Boston Scientific. He has served most recently as Vice President of International Finance. Previous positions include Vice President of Cardiovascular Finance (Maple Grove, MN) as well as Director of Finance for two separate operating units in the Boston Scientific Endosurgery Group.

"The goal for Dan in his new role will be to build an investor relations function at Boston Scientific that sets a new standard within the medical device industry," said Best. "In the months ahead, Dan will be reaching out to the various constituencies within the investment community to identify ways in which the company may best serve them."
